CDIB Capital makes selective commitments to best-in-class third party funds to broaden its exposure to strategic geographies and asset classes. When considering third-party fund commitments, we seek to partner with established, operationally-oriented investment teams with top-tier track records. We prefer situations where our unique positioning in Asia offers the potential to add value to the fund’s investment activities and favor general partnerships that offer meaningful co-investment opportunities. We seek to make limited partnership commitments ranging from US$10 million to US$30 million depending on fund size. We will selectively consider leading fund groups across a wide variety of private equity asset classes and strategies, including buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, and special situations. In addition, we selectively pursue secondary investment opportunities both in reputable third-party funds as well as in existing funds’ portfolio companies.
